An afternoon of rugby league will be played this weekend to honour fallen Queensland Police officers Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold.

Kicking off at Dolphin Oval from 1pm Saturday, the games will raise money for the McCrow and Arnold Remembrance Fund.

League legend Petero Civoniceva told Laurel, Gary & Mark it’s an opportunity for the community to get behind the police.

“Really looking forward to it,” he said. “I’m getting the boots back on, so my wife’s a bit worried about me!

“It’s a big day of rugby league; three games of rugby league plus a live music concert to finish out the day.”
