Flight Centre CEO criticises government decision on Qatar Airlines

The Albanese Government’s move to deny Qatar Airways additional flights to and from Australia has sparked criticism from Flight Centre’s CEO.
Graham ‘Skroo’ Turner, CEO of Flight Centre, told Peter Gleeson on Drive, “We work with Qantas, we are very big partners with them…you can’t blame them, the government made this decision. Qantas had a chance to put in their views but ultimately the government made the decision…”
“There’s no doubt our flights are too expensive, it’s just the reality of too little supply and too much demand…the the government had a chance to make a small difference with Qatar and they decided exactly the opposite, there is no logic in that…” Mr. Turner continued.
