Finance Minister hopeful of regaining Pauline Hanson’s support for company tax cuts

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson could be about to throw her support behind the government’s company tax cuts, again.

The One Nation Senator has already changed her mind four times, and is asking voters to ring her office and give their opinion.

It appears she’s changed her mind based on the latest Newspoll, which the majority of Australians want the cuts implemented.

Finance Minister Mathias Cormann joins Ben Fordham, and has steered clear of making any comment on Hanson’s constantly changing opinion.

“I have a very positive and constructive relationship with Pauline Hanson and her One Nation team.

“The reality is whenever Labor and the Greens decide to oppose an important economic reform pursuit by the government… then I have no choice than to secure the support of One Nation and others.”

Minister Cormann has refused to admit to Ben that the constant u-turns are frustrating, instead stating;

“We’ve got a responsibility to all Australians to give this our absolute best shot.”
