Famous Aussie chef Curtis Stone awarded first Michelin star

Australian chef Curtis Stone has been awarded his first Michelin star for his American based restaurant.
His Los Angeles restaurant, Maude, is a degustation-only restaurant, named after his grandmother, and celebrates the wine regions of the world.
Mr Stone is one of the few Australian chefs to receive the highly sought-after award.
He tells Chris Smith he is already striving for his second Michelin star.
“I worked in a lot of Michelin star restaurants… but I’ve never owned a restaurant that got one.
“All those years slaving away in kitchens somehow sort of makes a bit more sense.”
