Emergency services were called to the scene of a tragic accident this afternoon.

Queensland Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to a home on Navua Street in Strathpine at around 1.45pm following reports a person was trapped under a vehicle.

It’s believed the person may have been performing maintenance works on the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Paramedics treated the person for critical injuries at the scene.

A forensic crash unit has also attended to investigate what happened.
