Peter Psaltis has called for NRL bosses to make a call on the sanction for Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart’s for his post-match tirade.

The NRL says it is still investigating and yet to decide the punishment for Stuart over his comments on Penrith player Jaeman Salmon on Saturday night.

The Wide World of Sports host said what was said can’t be defended and a post-match press conference was the wrong forum to raise it.

“I think there will be a suspension, I just hope whatever does happen whether it’s a suspension and fine or one or the other that it’s sorted out tomorrow,” he said.

“Boy rugby league has got a good way of dragging things out.

“It should have been done today, this was Saturday night.”
