It’s full steam ahead for the NRL’s newest team, with a number of signings for the inaugural team in the past week.

Jesse Bromwich officially signed last week, and today it was announced South Sydney favourite Mark Nicholls will join the club.

CEO of the Dolphins, Terry Reader, said it was all about patience.

Mr Reader said given they were a new club, they were operating in a different environment.

“We are really comfortable, we’ve got patience, and if we have to wait to get the right player, we will,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.

“We are building a squad, it’s not just about 2023, but make sure it’s successful and sets the club up for hopefully a good start and making sure we are successful in the future as well.”
