Dolphins confident of a ‘very competitive roster’ for inaugural season

It’s been a big day for the NRL’s newest team, confirming Wayne Bennett as the inaugural coach of the Dolphins.
Now all eyes are on the rest of the team.
Terry Reader, the newly named CEO of the Dolphins, said there was a “lot of interest” from prospective players to join the club and play in 2023.
“There’s no doubting that there’s a lot of players that are interested in coming and playing at the Dolphins,” he told 4BC Drive.
“The one thing that’s helped us if you like, showing the lifestyle up here is the COVID break where you had players from all round the NRL staying here either in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or their Gold Coast with their families so they have seen what. wonderful place and lifestyle we have here.”
He said the were confident they would be able to put together a “very competitive roster” for their first season.
