Disco Wonderland in Brisbane: Classics set to take over Riverstage

Bill McDonald

Queen’s Wharf will be turned into a disco wonderland on Saturday night for the end of the Brisbane Festival.

Among the stars performing classic disco hits at Riverstage are Paulini and Ben Mingay.

The singing superstars joined Bill McDonald for a chat this afternoon in the studio.

“It’s fantastic, all the disco eras songs you love, Barry White, Earth Wind & Fire, Sister Sledge it’s amazing stuff,” Mingay said on 4BC Afternoons.

The performers will have the backing of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Paulini said there’s nothing quite like it.

“I cannot wait, I have never heard these songs performed like that.”
