Nationals leader David Littleproud has fired up over a suggestion the energy crisis facing the eastern seaboard is a result of “10 years of inaction” by the Coalition government.

Anthony Albanese levelled the claim at the former government today.

“No it’s nonsense, you can only use that excuse for so long,” Mr Littleproud told Scott Emerson.

He said there were a number of factors at play, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
