David Jones will be transforming a select number of BP petrol stations with their large selection of ready to eat meals and fresh food.

Ten BP sites across Sydney and Melbourne will be filled with 350 premium food products as part of a new partnership between the oil giant and retailer David Jones.

The new locations will be up and running within six months, offering choices like free-range rotisserie chicken, chicken tikka masala with rice and fresh sandwiches.

David Jones food managing director Pieter de Wet tells Ross Greenwood they will place a focus on fresh food.

“It’s driven by consumer demand.

“What we really see is making our brand more accessible to more customers.”
