Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage and CCTV after a frightening robbery at a restaurant in Marsden last night.

It’s believed a man entered the Macarthy Road restaurant at 6pm/

He entered through the back door, armed with a knife and what appeared to be a firearm, before raising the weapons towards three workers who then ran from the building.

The man then left with a cash register, which was later found by police a short distance away with all cash still inside.

The man is believed to be Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall and was wearing a black mask over his face and a dark coloured jumper.
