Damning review exposes ‘uncomfortable’ truths of Palaszczuk government
A damning interim report detailing the Palaszczuk government’s ‘grubby’ culture has been released.
Professor Peter Coaldrake has found public servants are keeping information from ministers in order to protect them.
A series of interviews and public submissions has revealed public servants have been told by seniors how to ‘channel’ information to ministers.
“This is uncomfortable reading for the Premier, this is uncomfortable reading for the government, the Labor government of Queensland,” Neil Breen said.
“It is now time for them to act and clean up the grubby way they run the state.”
A full report with recommendations is due later this year.
