Clive Palmer claims “there’s nothing wrong” with his Coolum Resort and says contrary suggestions are a “beat-up”.

That’s despite reports since 2015 that the resort is in wreck and ruin, leaving villa owners hundreds of thousands of dollars out of pocket.

One such villa owner, a retiree, contacted Alan Jones ahead of the interview with Mr Palmer.

“Access has been denied for the last 10 years by Mr Palmer. What does he intend to do?”

The United Australia Party leader and Senate candidate tells Alan, “it’s just not true”.

“All of them have access… it’s not closed down.

“The golf course is fully operational and if people want to enjoy the resort, it’s kept in tip-top condition.

“There’s nothing wrong with it at all, it’s just a media beat up.”
