Cheap fuel ‘could be gone by tonight’ with cycle predicted to soar to eyewatering prices

Motorists are encouraged to fill their tanks up today before fuel prices soar.
Around 40 per cent of service stations across the city are now selling petrol for $1.80 per litre.
RACQ’s Renee Smith told Sofie Formica we’re entering the expensive phase of the price cycle.
“So this cheaper fuel is if you see a service station charging $1.50 or less.
“It’s going to disappear really quickly.”
