CCTV | ATM cash box stolen in ramraid on Stafford shopping centre
Police are investigating after an ATM cash box was stolen during a ramraid on a shopping centre in Brisbane’s north at the weekend.
Around 3.30am on Sunday, two cars pulled up outside the Stafford City Shopping Centre complex.
One of the cars reversed through the glass doors and smashed into an ATM inside the centre.
The sedan that was used in the ramraid was dumped at the back of the shopping centre and set on fire.
Police say the occupants fled the scene in a stolen silver Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area early on Sunday morning is urged to contact police.
