A 38-year-old Canberra man faces a month in jail after a wild 100 kph e-scooter pursuit with police.

James Cole was caught on police body-cam on December 23 last year evading officers on motorbikes along the Majura Parkway and a nearby bike path, causing cyclists to dismount for their safety.

After losing control and being apprehended, Cole expressed concern about being late for work.
