There are reports of a fire at the Visy glass factory at South Brisbane. 

Patty from Kenmore, who works next door told Neil Breen he could see black smoke spilling from the building.

“We heard a bell ringing, so we all came out and looked and [saw] it’s on fire.”

Two fire crews and police attended the scene and the fire has been extinguished.

They say there was a small fire in a furnace, which overheated.

Nobody was injured.
