Bulldogs in midst of player quota crisis ahead of clash with Broncos
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are struggling to fill their team with crucial players struck down by COVID-19.
There are reports four players have tested positive to the virus, cutting the already injury-hit team ahead of its clash with the Broncos this Friday.
It means the team could be forced to apply to the NRL for exemptions to fill its player quotas.
Phil Gould reports the players have been sent for PCR tests to confirm their positive results.
Phil Gould told Jim Wilson four players have tested positive.
“It comes on the back of a pretty horrific injury toll” he said,
“There’ll be another five players that will come up.
