The Brisbane Broncos have moved into the NRL top four following a 36-14 win against the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium.

It’s the Broncos first win over the Eels since 2019.

Steve Renouf, who played in the 1992 grand final when the Broncos won their first premiership, says it’s great to see the club performing so well.

“I said to a few of the [players] last year … look at all the people turn up at training again, and the vibe around the city, because we were built on winning,” he told Peter Fegan on Brisbane Live.

He predicts they will be “deep into the finals”.
