Four billion people are expected to tune into tonight’s funeral for Queen Elizabeth II.

In London, people have spent the night camped out on the street, to get the best view of her coffin’s procession.

Presenter at Talk TV UK, James Max, says he feels people in the UK are torn between feeling bereft and upset, as well as feeling thankful for her service.

“What we are celebrating and remembering and marking here is the end of the reign of a sovereign who has been in place for 70 years,” he told Peter Fegan, filling in on Brisbane Live.

“She is not just Queen here, she is Queen to many nations around the world.

“I was speaking to an American correspondent this morning on my show, even [when] you speak to Americans, she is the Queen, the Royal family is seen as theirs, ours, everybody’s.”
