Queensland’s iconic 308-nautical-mile Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race will set sail from Moreton Bay this morning in what will mark the 75th edition for the mighty race.

A total 47 yachts and 400 sailors are competing this year, with no hundred-footers in the race.

Queensland Cruising Yacht Club vice commodore Harley Cowlishaw told Luke Bradnam there will be a good opportunity to see the vessels set sail today.
