Brisbane man dies in Targa Tasmania crash, a year after triple tragedy
The Targa Tasmania has turned fatal for a second year running after a Brisbane team crashed over an embankment.
The car plunged around 20 metres off the road and collided with a tree.
Police say a 59-year-old man who was driving the car died while his wife and front passenger were able to walk away.
Inspector Darren Hopkins said a crane will be needed to retrieve the car off Olivers Road in Mount Roland.
Three people died in last year’s event.
