BREAKING: Erin Patterson found guilty of triple mushroom murder

Erin Patterson has been found guilty on all charges in relation to the murders of Don and Gail Patterson, Heather Wilkinson and the attempted murder of Ian Wilkinson.
Erin Patterson was charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder after her in-laws, Don and Gail Patterson and Gail’s sister, Heather Wilkinson, died, and Wilkinson’s husband, Ian Wilkinson, was hospitalised after eating beef wellingtons prepared by Patterson back in July 2023.
4BC reporter Georgia Kondek told Carla Bignasca, Ms Patterson was restless as the verdict was read out.
“She’s likely to spend the rest of her life behind bars. We obviously don’t have those details yet. Sentencing will get underway on a later date,” she said.
Erin Patterson pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintained her innocence throughout the entire trial.
