The Deputy Prime Minister has tested positive for COVID-19 while abroad. 

Barnaby Joyce confirmed in a statement he had been experiencing mild symptoms and chose to get tested.

The rest of the Australian delegation has tested negative.

Mr Joyce was in DC to discuss the influence of social media and military capabilities.
