Avocado prices drop below a dollar due to oversupply in Qld

Improved growing conditions and an oversupply of the fruit in Queensland are behind the drop in prices.
“If anyone’s paying more than $2 for a decent-sized avocado, they’re definitely paying too much,” Huey’s Fruit & Veg director Kev Petty told Luke Bradnam.
