A man found dead in a crashed car on the Gold Coast is believed to have died of a gunshot wound.

Cameron Martin was found dead on Friday night after his sedan hit a tree off Tallebudgera Creek Road.

An autopsy has revealed he was shot and the death is being treated as suspicious.

The 47-year-old’s friend, Comanchero bikie Shane Ross, was found dead in bushland nearby.

An autopsy will likely be conducted today to determine what caused the 36-year-old’s significant head injury.
