Australia has been warned big spending could threaten its AAA rating.

A new report says Australia’s AAA credit rating is reliant on strong fiscal outcomes.

S&P Global Ratings Primary Credit Analyst Anthony Walker discusses this with Ross Greenwood.

“If the government averages deficits of around 3 per cent… that there may be inconsistent with a AAA credit rating.”
