Australian filmmaker Bill Bennett nearly died last year, this is what saved him
Last year, Australian filmmaker Bill Bennett was on his way to the airport when his life nearly ended.
It was a quiet morning in New Orleans, the streets were empty and he was running late.
As Bill approached a yellow light, a voice in his head told him to stop.
Heeding that warning saved his life.
“I did slow down and out of nowhere a massive truck ran a red light on a cross-street,” Bill tells Alan Jones.
“I would have been killed, there’s absolutely no doubt about that.”
Since his brush with death, the award-winning director has become fascinated by intuition.
His latest film PGS: Intuition Is Your Personal Guidance System is all about listening to your gut.
“What the film proposes is that intuition is a legitimate functioning system,” Bill says.
“It’s just that it works within the energetic realm and because of that, science can’t measure it.”
