Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced further assistance for Ukraine while in Germany.

As part of the announcement, it was confirmed that the Australian Defence Force will deploy a Royal Australian Air Force E-7A Wedgetail aircraft to Germany to help protect a gateway of international humanitarian and military assistance to Ukraine.

The Prime Minister will then head to Lithuania to attend the coming NATO summit.

Nine News Political Editor Charles Croucher told John Stanley that discussions at NATO would include the influence of China, due in part to the attendance of nations like Australia and Japan
