Amy Sheppard confirms solo journey not the end for band

Article image for Amy Sheppard confirms solo journey not the end for band

Australian indie pop band Sheppard won’t be left behind as its lead singer, Amy Sheppard, starts a solo journey.

Speculation has been rife among fans after the 31-year-old released her new single, Blue Guitar, separate from the band she shares with her siblings.

But Ms Sheppard has confirmed to Ray Hadley this morning she is still very much a part of the band as she explores a solo career.

“We’re writing our fourth album at the moment so I do have a little bit of downtime in terms of touring.”
