Three children have been found “safe and well” after being abducted in the Bundaberg region.

The kids – a three-year-old girl, six-year-old boy and seven-year-old girl – were allegedly taken from Apple Tree Creek shortly after 9am (QLD time) and were thought to be “at significant risk”.

Queensland Police issued an urgent ‘Amber Alert’ as they searched for a 32-year-old man known to the children.

He was allegedly seen taking the youngest from a property on Hall Road and the other two children from an address on Mungomery Street.

About an hour after the alert went out, police confirmed the children have now been found “safe and well” with the search called off.
