A new pool sharing app has launched in Australia, allowing people to book a neighbour’s pool for a fee.

Swimply will allow residents in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to book an hour or two at a pool near their home.

The majority of rates fall between $20-$50 per hour, with the average price at $40 and the average length a two-hour visit.

Swimply CEO and co-founder Bunim Laskin tells Ben Fordham all the pools are inspected before they are listed.

“Pool owners get to see all information before they accept the reservation and only accept ones they are comfortable with.”
