A 27-year-old man was arrested last night in Canterbury-Bankston after an alleged kidnapping situation.

The man is wanted in Queensland for alleged weapon and arson offences from early April.

Once the matters are dealt with in New South Wales, Queensland Police will apply for the expedition of the man back to Queensland.
