Pauline Hanson’s plan to help small businesses

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has written to the Prime Minister, seeking legislative change to boost support for small businesses.

She’s proposing a “timely payment policy” which would enforce stricter timelines on invoices.

Senator Hanson tells Alan Jones it would force big business to speed up transfers of money to those who rely on cash flow.

“It means a mandatory and maximum payment no later than 30 days from end-of-month, unless agreed at the outset of the contract.

“Large businesses to disclose their payment time, practices and performances against their terms.
