’25 years on’ – The lessons from September 11 we shouldn’t forget
Michael McLaren has looked back on the day that saw the tragic loss of 2977 people 25 years ago as he shares the lesson no one should forget.
It has also led him to question why democratic governments and people around the world can’t see the merit of Trump’s military campaign in Iran.
“Despite the constant provocations, we’ve managed to retain our humanity, our values, our freedoms and our institutions, and in doing so, delivering the ultimate rebuke to the twisted ideologues that tried to undermine all that a quarter of a century ago,” he said.
