The Rabbitohs carry strong momentum into their final regular season match after beating the Gold Coast Titans 42–22. Friday night’s game against their arch-rivals doubles as a huge celebration for the squad.
Keaon Koloamatangi reaches his 150th NRL match. He revealed three teammates will also mark major achievements: Jai Arrow‘s 100th Souths game, David Fifita‘s 150th, and Siliva Havili‘s 200th.
“I don’t really like too much sort of attention on myself, so it’s good that Jai’s 100th game for the Rabbitohs is then,” Koloamatangi told the Continuous Call Team.
The back-rower departs Souths at the end of the season. He insists the team remains focused on making a deep finals run after securing a top-eight spot.
“It was great to get a good win yesterday so we were able to play finals and knowing that next week’s not my last game for the club,” Koloamatangi said. “As long as we’re in the eight, we’re a chance, and we back ourselves against anyone.”
