Trent Nikolic has underlined how the government has let rural Australians down as the Prime Minister is set to make an appearance at the Bush Summit in Darwin.

The 2GB presenter has been left stunned by the role the Clean Energy Finance Corporation played in selling a trust to a foreign-controlled natural capital investment manager.

“Surely food security, the means to produce it, the land required to produce it, and the control of that land should … remain in Australian hands,” he said.

“There would be no part of this purchase that makes sense to anyone other than the Labor government,” he added.
