Matt King has been officially announced as the successor to Laurie Daley following NSW’s Origin series victory. Addressing questions about making the step up from assistant to head coach, King delivered a passionate view on facing high-stakes expectations.

“Pressure comes to all of us at some stage in our life, but the one thing that I know to be true more than anything else that if you find a way to get through that pressure, there’s only greatness on the other side of it,” King said.
