Who the proposed Greater Brisbane Region rebrand is for
The proposed South East Brisbane rebrand is not for the locals, according to Courier Mail editor Chris Jones.
Speaking to Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, Jones says people overseas don’t know where Brisbane is.
“I think the biggest opportunity is marketing globally … The Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast are doing themselves a disadvantage if they still keep marketing themselves as such; they should ride the coattails of Brisbane,” he told Peter Fegan.
