Jason Matthews has been left feeling insulted after it was revealed that the recently held Veteran Games went ahead without any funding from the government.

He says it’s not fair for the veterans who risked their lives to have their funding knocked back.

“The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide said we needed to prioritise and yet these guys … and girls could not get a cent from Canberra,” he said on 4BC Mornings.
