Penrith premiership-winner Mark Geyer believes Reece Walsh is the best player in the competition ahead of the NRL finals following his purple patch of form over the last month for the Broncos.

“On the footy field at the moment, there’s none better, I think at the moment he’s the star of our competition,” Geyer said.
