St George Illawarra co-captain Damien Cook has slammed some of the criticism directed at teammate Kyle Flanagan and coach Shane Flanagan, following the club’s win over the Eels on Saturday in Wollongong.

“I think it was just a way that some people in the media and that wanted to sort of use that as a way to create a bit of a headline,” Cook said.
