Brisbane Broncos general manager Troy Thomson has revealed to Salty what it was that enticed the team to pick up Grant Anderson and his thoughts on Selwyn Cobbo leaving the squad after this year.

Thompson says there’s always a chance for Cobbo to get back in the squad this year.

“It’s not just those 17 players each week that help you win premierships … We need those players there to be able to fill a hole if we get some injuries or suspensions,” he said.
