Damages up to $100,000 after vandals target Moreton Bay parks

There’s been an increase in thefts and arson across parks in the Council of Moreton Bay, with damages costing the council over $100,000.

Mayor of Moreton Bay, Peter Flannery, says there’s been a recent increase in vandalism.

“It’s just a senseless waste of a facility that –  little kids and toddlers love to come to our parks and be safe in the parks, and this sort of thing puts a dent in that,” he said.
