‘Peace through strength’: World waits for Iran’s response to US bombings with war ‘far from over’

Peter Fegan

Donald Trump says they have disarmed the threat, but how will Iran respond?

Nine News US Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “Donald Trump is calling this peace through strength”.

“It was his mantra, his slogan throughout the presidential campaign. And he’s tried to find a way to get into this conflict, and get out of it while achieving what he wants to, and that is an end to Iran’s nuclear program,” he said.

“But make no bones about it, this is far from over,” he added.

“The US officials are saying the next 36 hours or so are going to be the most crucial.”
