Despite many effective trials, a social media expert says age verification “isn’t perfect” at the moment.

Tech giants resisting world-first laws to restrict children under the age of 16 from social media sites, now have no excuse after a trial has found that age-verification technology is effective.

Social Media Expert and Founder of Dark Horse Agency Nicole Jameson told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “The age verification is not perfect and it’s still confusing 16-year-olds with 23-year-olds.”

“I don’t think the age verification technology is ready yet,” Jameson said.
