Exciting proposal put forward to transform Brisbane’s Mount Coot-tha ahead of 2032 Olympics

There’s an exciting proposal put forward to transform Brisbane’s Mt Coot-tha ahead of the 2032 Olympics.
A bold new vision has been put forward to transform Mt Coot-tha and its surrounds ahead of Brisbane’s moment in the global spotlight at the 2032 Olympics and it all centres around eco-tourism.
Founding Director of Suburban Futures Ross Elliott told Bill McDonald on 4BC Afternoons, “I can’t think of a city certainly in this country, where you’ve got such a large natural asset, so close to a very large population.”
“It puts Brisbane into a league of global destinations.”
“It’s untapped, we are not making use of it, we look up at the mountain and look at those hills and we don’t realise we can walk through them,” Ross Elliott said.
