Queensland Rugby League CEO has the launched Maroons Foundation, which aims to make rugby league more accessible for everyone in Queensland. 

The Maroons Foundation is committed to making rugby league more accessible to more people, because everyone who loves our game should be able to play our game – equal facilities, equal pathways, one united future!

Queensland Rugby League CEO Ben Ikin told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports “We want to make the game for those that love it more accessible in more places.”

“There’s a whole lot of people in those communities who get hard hit by natural disasters, which then impacts their ability to afford registration fees, ” Ikin continued.
