Current Queensland Teachers are speaking out about how worsening classroom behaviour across the state is impacting all students.

9News Political Editor Tim Arvier told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “So many parents who aren’t doing what they should be doing at home, sending these kids to school, and many of them have horrible background,s and they act up at school because school is their safe place to act up.”

“If they do that at home, horrible things happen to them.”

“It’s a combination of what’s going on in society, poor parenting, and a system now set up within the education system that doesn’t have the repercussions for the actions, the consequences for actions that teachers say are needed,” Tim Arvier said.
